Thursday 16th September 2010
About 300 people from our community attended the Pope's Mass in Bellahouston Park.
We gathered early at the Church and travelled by train, underground and on foot to Bellahouston Park. Security checks done, we found our spot and passed a joyful afternoon together, sharing picnics and enjoying the entertainment and music. Then, the highlight as His Holiness made his way through the park, and celebrated a beautiful Mass. By evening, everyone was tired but exhilerated, and proud to have been part of this wonderful and historic event.
